Problem is we are not going to get many births because of the timing of their marriages.......  :-\

No births in Victoria to an Ada Forster before 1920......  :'(

Gee you guys are great - my daughter pinched the PC for a while and when I claim it back I find all this great detective work!

I thought you may be at a loose end on Anzac day with all the shops closed  ;D and knowing how much you all like the thrill of the chase .... hence my posting ..

It might be worth sending the findings to the newspaper  :D

Hope this isn't going to interupt your flow but with regard to Alfred John Parr, from the 1901.

RG13/2977/11 page 13 Loughborough Leicester

Charles Newbon 45 born Easton Northants
Elizabeth A Newbon 32 born Beeston Notts
James W Newbon 20 born Beeston Notts
Mary E Newbon 15 born Beeston Notts
Alfred, Archibald & John Parr ages 7, 3 & 3 respectively all born Loughborough Leicestershire.
Mabel Barber dau aged 5 born Loughborough. ???
Charles Newbon aged 3mths Loughborough

Free BMD has the marriage of Elizabeth A Parr to Charles Newbon Mar qtr 1900 Loughborough 7a 158

This would explain the query on Alfred's Mother's name.

Also from Free BMD Elizabeth Ann Archer married John Parr June qtr 1891 Loughborough 7a 248

John Parr died June qtr 1899 Loughborough aged 30 7a 80.

Hope this goes some way to help.
