Martha Walsh brn 21 July 1867 Glendermot dist., Co. Londonderry to John Walsh and Sophia McLaughlin.

If this is the correct family they were nowhere near Portadown. 
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks for all your help,but I think that Hugh's father John must have been born about 1800? as Hugh was born in 1858.
I will keep plodding on.
