Ta Willow, you just caught me!

Ann Churchill is down as married in 1871 so husband must have been out and about.
And Midian is down as a girl.
Nehemiah is a "labourer in works".
And they all live at 7 Chapel Street.

Good night!

And in 1881 we have at 33 Bumble Hole

Nehemiah Churchill aged 28 head Boatman
Hannah aged 29
Joseph aged 6 son
William aged 13 son
Hannah aged 1 daughter

I have checked Williams age on the 1881 and 1891 census and he is listed as 13 on both!

There is a death listed for a William Churchill in 1865 4 Q 6c 7 Could this be the original William?

There is also listed a Midian Churchill marrying in Bromley Kent in 1896 3 Q 2a 195 but nothing else for him!

Confused? you will be .............

The IGI has william as 3 in 1881 so that must be a mistake on Ancestry

"Go play with your cousin William" must have been very confusing in that family :)

Hi Gardner.
You have been a busy little bee digging around for me.
Thank you so much.
I do think the william and Ann is our churchill clan but the age is so out , i still think they are ours.
William died in 1902 in staffordshire and no i don't think they went abroad. But i will just look into that.
They moved to wednesfield later on in the piece and were there with son Thomas in 1901census.
The ages of the children seem to fit the time they were married in 1852.
The 1871 census looks like they are the same family to me but i must admit the 3 names Angelina, midian ,and joseph are all new to us.Maybe Midian  died.I know they did lose a William.
I don't have an address at all or a number for them.SORRY.
I will sit a study the information you have sent me It was for more than i hoped for.
                                   And thanks once again.
