1851 Census O'HALLORAN
« on: Monday 17 January 05 10:14 GMT (UK) »
Hoping someone can help with the 1851 Census. I know them came from Tipperary but unsure what part. The family as I know it is
Michael O'Halloran   father
Catherine O'Halloran (Crooke) mother
John O'Halloran  son born about 1848
I have not been able to find and reference to John being born or his parents marriage and the only information I have has come from his death certificate.
Any help on the family would be appreciated

Try Clonmel. I know of O'Halloran's in Lurgoe, and in Garraun, both large families, but with no Michael in either. Also O'Halloran's in Carrick on Suir, but again no Michael.
John was a fairly common Christian name in the clan, Michael less so.

In this case also (same poster) member hasn't been online since 2008 so there's unlikely to be a response.
