McDonough and Daniels (McDaniels ) of Kilmaine

I have recently learned that my gr gr granparents, Bridget McDonough and Michael Daniels were natives of Kilmaine, Galway. They were Catholics born in approximately 1855 and emigrated to the U.S.A. in 1873. Is Kilmaine now considered to be in County Mayo. Any suggestions in obtaining any records from Kilmaine, Galway?    Thank you for any assistance.

Hi, if you go to this site  you can search for free on Galway East/West and Mayo. You only have to register. You only pay for records you want to view. You can search Births/marriages/ deaths/ burials and baptisms.
