After reading these posts about Capt. John McCracken, I started to wonder if anyone has come across an Elizabeth McCracken born abt. 1727 in Clachanmore and died 23 Jan 1781 Laigh Dirgoals. She married Thomas Leach and they had about 8 children at least one of which came to America in the late 1700's
