If it helps I have the MI microfiche for Flamstead and Great Gaddesden and George is not recorded on them.  Of course, he might not have had a headstone at all!  :o

The fiche arrived today for Abbots Langley and Hemel Hempstead and George was not on either of those  :'(

That's a real shame. :(

So........of the parishes within Hemel Hempstead RD, I would start with Kings Langley as geographically it is probably the most likely.

Even if George didn't have a MI or did have one but it hasn't survived, he should still be recorded in the burial register.

The book for Kings Langley All Saints came today and there is not a single Seabrook in it !

I guess George does not want to be found, either not being at any of the churches we have looked at the MI's for, or not having an MI.
