on  the 1936  electorall  roll  five of  them are  living  with  mum Anna L  that is.

Mary's father is noted as a Solicitor.

Ther is  one  Bateman  isted in  the White pages on line for  Kiami  where a  number of  the neices and  nephews died.

Thanks for P.M.'s Jenn I know what you mean about the information brilliant though it was.

Dee I am really trying to see if we can work out who these nieces and nephews
are/were and why Mary had the stone erected by them.

Also if any off the lineage is still over there.

I know most of the English information living in the County.

On the 1841 English Census

H.O. 107/686/14 Pg 46 Folio 26 St Pancras

Mary's parents are noted so as marriage not in Northamptonshire more than likely London.

Okay there is a marriage in London District (covers St Pancras) of a Thomas Bateman
to Marianne  Daubeny (hence middle name of Mary) Jun Qtr 1840.
