Loosely inserted is an anthem printed by Evans of Merthyr, 'Remember the Creator'. The spine is worn and damaged, but the covers are Good. The bible has clearly passed through many hands, but this is the very stuff of 19th Century life in the Welsh Valleys and we suspect this Bible should be on display in a museum.
