searching for PEACOCK/ROWLATT/BAYLISS
« on: Friday 09 May 08 22:17 BST (UK) »
I'm trying to trace, for a friend, the family of Doreen Freda PEACOCK, born 1916, birth registered in Wandsworth (Doreen's mother's maiden name was Holland).

Doreen married in 1935 and her married name was BAYLIS but this marriage broke up a few years later. There was also a connection with the surname of ROWLATT and a child born in Bath in 1945.

If any of this is familiar to you or you know of someone who may have been related to Doreen, I would love to hear from you so I can help my friend.

Thank you!

On freebmd.rootsweb.com, there is a possible sister Eileen born in 1917, who died the same year. Probably their parents are Frank A. Peacock and Kitty A. Holland who married in 1915 in Wandsworth.

Interestingly, also in Lambeth (where Eileen died) in 1928 there's a Kitty A. Holland, mmn Holland - another relation?

I'm having trouble finding much out about Frank or Kitty (Catherine?) - I thought if I could track them we might find something out about Doreen.
