Hi everyone, I'm researching my Ormston relatives. I've been scratching my head over my great grandparents Robert Ormston & Ada Hannah Ormston (Richardson is her maiden name).
They had 5 sons Wilfred, Roy, Victor, Kenneth & one more Melville who sadly died as an infant. I never met any of them but I know that Wilfred (before early death in 1974) and Ken were classical singers and regularly performed around the North East.
Robert & Ada married in 1912 in Newcastle and lived in South Shields.
Robert was born in 1890 in Jarrow, Co. Durham. His mother was Jane Ormston but I don't know her maiden name or husband's name.
Anybody recognise any of these people? Can anyone help/shed some light on Robert & Ada and Robert's parents?
