Anyone interested in Irish History. New book Limited comes out the end of June.
An Independance story with a differance.
This book examines the actions of the South Mayo Brigade I.R.A. the boarder regiment and the Ballinrobe R.I.C. in great detail during the events of 3-4-May 1921,before,during and after the Tourmakeady Ambush.Many Local people,policemen,and Soldiers are mentioned.
 Also a significant primary source material written by a British Officer in Command that day.The Diaries of the Divisional Commander whose HQ was at the Curragh in Kildare. And extensive notes written by the son of the last R.I.C. Sergeant to be stationed in Tourmakeady,Co, Mayo.
