I have a Sarah Cotton nee
born Cavan County c 1829.
In 1871 she is living in Cambo House , Fife Scotland with her husband
John Cotton b 1837.
Looking at the rest of the Cotton family it`s highly likely that John and Sarah married in Ireland.
There is a son William Cotton b Ireland c 1859 and daughter Jane Cotton b Ireland c 1860.
Any help much appreciated.
John was most likely a groom or something to do with horses, he was born Wales and father was John Cotton. a groom.
