Looking for info on family of Alexander Luke b 1781 Duns and wife Isabella b 1805 Eccles (she was a Fairbairn)
in 1851 census in Coldstream Berwickshire the children were
Elspeth b 1827
George b 1831
Thomas b 1832
Isabella b 1835
Alexander b 1836

Thomas is my line.

Some of family came to USA.

Thomas married Fanny Imeson 1856 in Michigan
their children were Isabella (married Edward Dunn); Imeson; James W (married Maggie Young); Fanny (married Herbert Smith); and Mary.

believe Elspeth married Alexander Ralston, no children

George married a Mary Agnes
their children were Isabella, Alexander and George

Having re-read your post I think you have this information - I assumed you were asking for a search for 1851.

There is a very strange entry for 1841 and I am not sure if it is your family as I cannot access the image. The surname is transcribed as Leslie and some of the first names seem to fit but the spelling is a problem. Occupation of Head is draper.

I'll have a look and see if this family exists as Leslie in the 1851

We know that Elspeth, George, and Thomas came to Amercia. We also think younger brother Alexander did. I was hoping some relations in Berwickwhire would make contact too.
