Thomas Family 1861/1871 census
« on: Sunday 18 May 08 22:24 BST (UK) »
I am having great trouble finding my Thomas ancestors in these two census returns.  I know the family were in Newport in 1854 and in 1881.  In the 1861 there should be James 1830 Fishguard, Ann 1834 Bristol, Frank 1855 Newport, Emily 1858 Newport, Martha 1859 Newport.  By 1871 they had increased to include Mary Ann 1861, Mary Elizabeth 1863, Charles 1864 and Thomas 1868.  I've searched Ancestry in vain.  Can anyone suggest anywhere else please.

Thank you very much Osprey - at least one gap filled in.  Just my luck to have the family on one of the missing pieces in 1861!
