Hi Goggy,

You have appealed to my literary side that sounded very poetic.

OK back on the trail have written to two local news papers to try and find Wesley, may be try and find a way of looking at the electoral rolls myself.

Did try looking for telephones Numbers this morning on line , came up with one, W Davies in Hollwell, suppose i could try writting to the address with a short note as you don't give up Have printed off your reply got it stuck by my screen.

Thanks Valerie

Hello Goggy,

I have found them its all thanks to you and your pep talk,

The newspaper letters worked and one of the younger family contacted me by e.mail, and they asked me to ring them there were all excited and i have spoken to my mothers cousin and my second cousin.

And one of my mothers direct family, their son lives not 10 mins from me, and another is in to family history and wants all my infoand they wii share what they have.

I want to thank you , I would say from the bottom of my heart but sounds a bit dramatic, but i am ecstatic and i would have given up unless you had'nt given me a kick up the backside.

Happy Easter

Valerie

I'm looking for a couple of sisters, Frances Downie and Margaret Viant, née Downie from Liverpool. I think they were probably born mid-1890s. The addresses I have for them: for Frances, Liverpool in childhood, later on 72 Constable Gardens, Edgeware, Middlesex, England, and The Camp, Eleanor Crescent, Mill Hill, London NW7; for Margaret I have Lorraine, Eleanor Crescent, Mill Hill, London NW7, and 21 Beaulieu Close, Twickenham, Middx, England.
Any help gratefully accepted.

"1920 he was living at 24 Picton Road Wavertree Liverpool."

How are you able to locate Robert DAVIES at an address in 1920?

Hi Abhanliath

You have "hi jacked" a 23yr old post that has no relevance to your own FH.

What exactly are you looking for?  If you are looking for their FH - then you need to start a new post on the Lancashire board detailing exactly what you want help with & what you already have so we don't waste time duplicating info,

If you want info relating to their lives in Middlesex then you need to post on the Middlesex board

I don't know what an FH is. I don't know where the "Lancashire board" is. I haven't hijacked a thread, I've answered it with a Liverpool-related enquiry.

FH = Family History

This post was originated by Valerie1 in 2005 & relates to her Ancestor Robert Davies - please read page 1 of this post

Your post has no connection to Robert Davies hence my reply

Here is the link you need to the Lancashire board - click on New Topic to post your request

https://www.rootschat.com/forum/lancashire-lookup-requests/

And to the Middlesex board

https://www.rootschat.com/forum/london-middlesex-lookup-requests/

Please do not post the same request on both boards.  See my reply above & decide which board best suits your enquiry

If I knew how to go to the different boards, and how to originate a new post, i'd do so. Unfortunately I don't.
