John Grey WOODWARD to PE in 1842

Can anyone help me with information about John Grey WOODWARD and his wife Mary (nee CROOM)?

As far as I can tell they married in the December Quarter of 1840; they appear in London in the 1841 Census; and they emigrated to South Africa in 1842.

I have found what I assume to be them aboard the 'Ann' which left London on 26 August 1842 and arrived at Port Elizabeth on 16 November 1842.

Are there any records that might help to identify what became of them after their arrival?
