David CAMPBELL
« on: Tuesday 27 May 08 12:02 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for information on my grandfather who I know died in Weston super Mare.  I believe he remarried after he went south as a cousin had seen him in 1955 with a woman who had two children (His?).  He is buried in a pauper's grave in weston supermare.  I believe he was born in Shotts, Lanarkshire around 1885. Any help would be appreciated.

I am posting this purely for continuity purposes - in a pm to me, Ruth has confirmed that she is seeking info of her grandfathers re-marriage etc and this is part of my reply to avoid any duplication

Unfortunately - there will be a huge number of marriage for a David Campbell on the GRO index so the only advice I can offer is to get a copy of his death cert to see who reported the death and whether they were any relation to him.  This may (or may not) give you a lead.

Death certs are not always the best source of info as anybody could report a death
