Have a marriage certificate on which the father's rank or profession box has the letters U.D.C in, the only thing I can think of is Urban District Council. The person in question Thomas Morgan was a coalminer on his daughter's birth certificate and also on his own marriage certificate. The place is Warsop in Nottinghamshire. Can anybody help please.
