I am hoping that I will have more luck with this couple this time.

I asked for help a few years ago, but nothing came of it...

Stephen Roderick DONALDSON & Annie Frances LLOYD were my great great grandparents...

Stephen's occupation was listed as 'Publican' on his daughter's marriage certificate in 1885.

Their daughter, Annie Frances DONALDSON was born abt. 1864 in Manchester, Lancashire, England?

Annie obviously emigrated to Australia, because she married William Edmund ANSELL on 8 October 1885 in Cunnamulla, Queensland, Australia.

I have a sneaking suspicion she arrived in Queensland, Australia with her family from Ireland???   ???

Maybe she was never actually born in Manchester, Lancashire, England at all!

HELP please!!!   :)

Stephen Roderick DONALDSON & Annie Frances LLOYD | Marriage Record?

Their daughter, Annie Frances DONALDSON | Birth Record (1864)?

Best wishes,

No point in trying to search in Ireland without haveing a place (parish if not actual townland not just the county or 'Ireland').
As with all research you need to work back through available records to find clues. Do the Donaldsons appear in any English census records (if so, what is listed for their birthplaces?). Have you checked for Annie's birth certificate in England? Civil registration of Irish births only started in 1864 and many early births (until 1870) were not registered so even if she was born in Ireland there might not be a birth certificate for her.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
