Dear Tati

Thank you for your assistance.

This can assist me with furthering the Hayes tree.
Do you have the 1861 Census of the same family please?

Cheers

Margaret is a bit elusive - do you think she may have been married before, where did her full name come from?

Tees valley indexes has a John Hayes marrying a Jane M. Morrow in 1862 Guisborough (the area they were living in 1871)

1861  RG9/3704 fol.29 p.52
West Street, Stranton
in household of John & Susan Davison
Richard Hayes lodger  widr 60 Stone Mason  b. England
Eleanor   "           "             12                            "

1861 RG9/223 Folio 46  Page  10
57 Basinghall Street, St. Michael Bassishaw, London, Middlesex
in household of John Shea, Carpet & Blanket Agent
John Hayes  lodger unm 24 Linen Draper  Durham Seaton Carew

From 1871 census, all 3 children born Middlesex, so assuming that's where the marriage took place

Could this be first child's birth reg, if so, narrows the marriage dates further
Sep 1863  HAYES    Francis John    Shoreditch  1c   177

Dear Barbara
Margaret's maiden name was assed done to me but havent been 100% with it for along time. So if you could help to show otherwise then it can be corrected.

Maybe the Guisborough district marriage could well be right after all  :)

1861 census  RG9/3703  Folio 12  Page  18
1 Whitby Street, West Hartlepool, Stranton, Durham
in household of William Hardy, Butcher

Margaret Jane MORROW lodger unm   26 Milliner   Middlesex, London

Perhaps you could check it with the register office
details of that marriage at http://www.middlesbrough-indexes.co.uk/search.php
