being a bit lazy on the cleanup... I went for the copy  ;)

I would say it was a "posh" do!

try searching for her or her husband in 19c newspapers to see if they attended any posh do's they are usually reported.
Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.

Thats lovely JC26....................do you think they "hired" these sort of dresses for photos?

Betsey & Joseph her husband  were Licesed Vituallers at this time and so I guess they went to some posh do,s perhaps through that..................Joseph started life as a bargeman...........his father owned a pub and a barge he left about £800 in 1845 guess that was a bit then.
