Looking for additional info on family of James Jamieson and wife Mary Ann Smith.  It appears both still alive in 1889 at marriage of daughter.  Have children Elizabeth (b 1866); Mary (b 1869); Joseph (b 1870); and Robert (b 1875).  Elizabeth married John McKay in Port Glasgow in 1889 and she died about 1905.  Any other info on this family would be greatly appreciated.

There's more information on the children of James and Mary Ann on IGI (which is free). Daughter Isabella born 16 May 1864 Glendermot dist., Co. Derry. Elizabeth's birthplace given as Clady distrist, Co. Derry so the family probably came from Clady/Glendermot area in Co. Londonderry.
IGI also has Scottish births for 2 more possible daughters. If they do belong to this family then either birth certificate should list date and place of parents' marriage.
If James and Mary Ann went to Scotland with the family their death certificates and Scottish census records should give you more details. See Scotland's People website to see what information is on Scottish certificate and how to purchase credits and view the certificates.
