Hi Alan,

No worries! ;D  And just regarding your other train of thought.  Your (collectively speaking) William Vickery is not William Coleridge Brandon Vickery as www.freebmd.co.uk has a death entry for William Coleridge Branddon Vickery (that's how it's registered) for the June quarter in 1845.  So no banana there but at least you now know it's not him.  The IGI is not exhaustive and there is always the chance that William's birth was never recorded (pain in the patootie).

Cheers

Hi All,

I too have hit a brick wall with a William Vickery. I have a baptism certificate for Dorcas Vickery b.24 March 1850 at Liverpool Plains, N.S.W. Australia. It lists her parents as William and Mary Vickery and their abode as Guierindi. I also have Dorcas's marriage certificate to Alfred Logan m.20 November 1870. Dorcas's parents are listed as William Vickery and Mary Old. I have no information at all on William or Mary, is it possibly the same William Vickery as Alan's

Cheers
