I am researching my wife's family tree and have found that her grandmother Edith Farr was married before she married my wife's grandfather.
She married Private 240325 Charles Hocking 1st/5th York and Lancaster Regiment on 23rd December 1917 he was killed on 26th March 1918, I think in France as he is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial in Belguim, aged 25
His brother Private 27551 Joseph Hocking 10th Bn Royak Warwickshire Regiment  was killed 2 weeks later on 17th April 1918 he is also remembered at Tyne Cot,aged 21
I would greatly appreciate any further information you could find on these men.

Best wishes

Mosh

Nothing much more revealing on their MICs

Charles was awarded all three war medals - Victory, British and the 1915 Star.

Joseph was awarded the Victory and British Medals thus his entry into the theatre of war would be after January 1916.
