Felix's medal index card is on Ancestry.  He was awarded all three medals, Victory, British and 1915 Star.

The date of entry is given as:   11. 5. 15
Reid: Nicol: Peterhead and Aberdeen
McDonald: Greig: Milne: Aberdeenshire
Moreland: Lanarkshire, Whitehaven in Cumbria and Ireland
Cunningham: Lanarkshire, Cumbria and Ireland

just found this wonderful article
"Toll Boys war memorial "
I dont know how to link it
its a Lady called Mary Young's Scullomie's pages (apologies if I am not supposed to print ladies name on here)
its about her father being invited to unveil a memorial plaque in Port Glasgow
and guess what Felix's name appears on it there is also a D Mooney on it
my grandmother's Mother was a Mooney
and the sad thing about it is I see that plaque every day and never thought of
stopping to look at it  :o :(

I am researching my wife's family tree and have found that her grandmother Edith Farr married Private Charles Hocking on December 23rd 1917. He was killed on 26th March 1918 I think in France as he is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial in Belgium.
His number was 240325 1st/5th Bn. York and Lancaster Regiment.
I would greatly appreciate any information on this man.

best wishes

Mosh
