Hi Lindy-lou

Two things you can do. You can post the relevant section of the DC here on RootsChat and people can help to decipher it. You can also contact SP regarding the problems you are having and they will send out a supposedly enhanced section of the DC via email - see www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/content/contactus/form.aspx?issue=24

Regards.

I also meant to add. When posting info here from BMDs, due to copyright, you can only post the relevant section from the cert, not the whole image.

What info do you have on George Mundie and the DC you are looking at - there might be other ways of finding confirmation of wife's name.

i know georges wifes name...jane cheyne...
if her name is on cert..its really faint..it would then give me georges parents names...i'm hoping it to be alexander mundy & christian dargie..this is the closest i've got yet.

Now that I know what names you are looking for, I think although the image is v. poor, you may be lucky with this one  :) George's father on the DC does look like Alexander and mother as Christina (although I can't make out her maiden name, there is a XaXgXX) which looks promising for Dargie). Similarly, although wife's name is illegible, her maiden surname does have a y midway which could fit for Cheyne. I think given how poor the detail is and that you know what details you are trying to verify, verification by SP would be the best route.
