Please would some kind person do me a look up for John Barrass born 1791 Benton, his wife Elizabeth don`t know where she was born or date of birth but their son Thomas was born 1830 Benton.  Much Appreciated. Thank you. gladys1

I think I found them on the 1841 living at Benton Square, Longbenton

Apart from the Dalrymple/Coombs/Heron connection we have, my Mams Aunt married a BARRASS and they lived in Newbiggin!...Maybe we will connect there too

Hello Suz, now i know where John`s wife Elizabeth was born and i do thank you for your kind help so its back to Durham for John`s father Thomas Barrass,     also Cavvytri yes we might be connected there with Barrass and yes i am fine and still knocking about thank you for your kind help as well.   Much Appreciated. Hello Suz, yes that is them right enough in the census and a place of birth for John, goody,  I don`t know about them bap`s for John though which i have this one here for Longbenton says John was bap 1791 July 8, father Thomas Barrass.  If i can find a marriage for John Barrass to an Elizabeth they might have had a child before 1841 census.  Will find out at some point.    Thank you once again for your kind help.   Regards Gladys.
