Hi KAMA,
I have checked the MI books for Stoneykirk and Kirkmaiden and sorry no John Cowan or his wife. There is a James Cowan died 2 Feb 1901 aged 56 and his wife Jane Niven died 16th Oct 1896 in the Stoneykirk book, any relation?
Regards
Beannie

Hi, I have been to stoneykirk and have the MI book, was thinking they might be buried in Stranraer somewhere. Or maybe they haven't got a headstone at all.
