I am looking for any information that anyone may have on my following relatives:

The information I have is limited.
 
John McGladdery was born in Ballycor in 1823, his father was called John I have no information on his mother though a John McGladdery wa married to a Jennet about 1775 in Ballycor and they had a son called John in 1786 in Ballycor.  I was wondering if this was the grandparent of John McGladdery (born 1823) in Ballycor.
 
John (1823) married Ellen Strange (born 1827 Ballycor) in 1848 in Ballyeaston, Antrim.
 
They had six children that I am aware of all christened in Ballyeaston.

Jane Hay Mcgladdery married James Boyd on 04.11.1870 at Ballynure Presbyterian Church.
 
They had three children that I am aware of all born in Doagh.

William John  12.06.1872  (my grandfather)
Sarah            06.05.1875
 
I have no information on James Boyd, when he was born and who his parents were.  He is my great grandfather but all I know nothing about him.  On his son's wedding certificate in 1903 his occupation is stated as mechanic.

William John Boyd married Elizabeth Kate Sealy on 03.12.1903 at Albertbridge Congregational Church, Knockbreda, Belfast.  They had my father William George Boyd on 25.01.1909.

I know that they were tailors and lived in Portallo Street.  William John died in 1917 and Elizabeth Kate in the 1941 Belfast Blitz.

I have no information on where Elizabeth came from, on her wedding certificate her father is stated as John dec'd. it does not give her age.

William John's sister Ellen married Samuel Stafford Woods in Ballynure Church of Ireland 15.08.1889.

I have a photo of one of my Dad's aunts but I do not know if it is on William Boyd's or Elizabeth Sealy's side.

I was just looking thought your information about you relatives Baptised in Ballyeaston. Just some additional info for you.

The Church is First Ballyeaston Presbyterian, two churches in the villiage.

The dates of Baptism you have are really the dates of Birth. The dates of Baptism, if you want them, can be found on the original Baptismal Register, which the Public Record Office in Belfast has a copy of on Microfilm. Ref MIC/1P/420.

Jane Hay BORN 12 Feb 1851, according to my copy of the baptismal register, is Jane Hoy. This could be an error by the person putting the records on to computer, but could be worth a look at the original.

The Church did a Congregation census in 1813 but I could not see any McGladderys.

No sorry the microfilm is not online.
You try your Local Family History Center and see if they can get a copy of the microfilm. Check out their website

I could check the records for you the next time I am at the Public Records office.  It could be mid July before I get back.

Margaret Allen McGladdery, Born 10 December 1857, Ballyeaston, - Could not find the record but I now have more information and will look for the date of Baptism the next time.

Sarah, Born 6 May 1875, Ballyclare, Baptised 30 June 1875.

The names underlined were hard to make out on the originals so they might not be correct.

I wonder who William J and Mary Boyd were who witnessed the marriage it is a pity that witnesses do not say what relation they are or whether they are friends.
