If Isabella Luke is with or near David Denham (I have not seen the census) in 1881 Canada then that David would be ours...My source for David's date of birth which I noted had not proven it.  He had a question or alternative date which I am not sure of yet. It would just be too much of a coincidence that a David Denham and Isabella Luke were not related in some way if together in census.

Also the mother in law of our David (Mrs Isabella Luke) had written in her will that her dau had marreid a David Denham who was a carpenter in Detroit.  Will have to look into his parents John and Elizabeth....

Hope this link works....it's Esther Denham's death in the newspaper in London.  It notes she is a native of Cold Stream, Scotland and came to first Detroit in 1852 and then London, Ontario

I signed up for the web site etc. and then put her name in for the only paper for London which only starts in1880 and nothing showed.
There are several listings for Denham...do you have a date of the paper?
does it meniton when she died?
any children?
family members?
