Anyone researching the McLarens of Kenmore.

Margaret MacLaren married Alexander McKay at Kenmore 20 Mar 1822.Her Parents John McLaren 1771 and Elizabeth McPherson 1775..married 1795 Kenmore.
And that's as far as I can get.
Possibility John's parents John McLaren and Catherine MacLaren ??? but cannot find anything on the IGI nothing for MacPhersons either.
Looks as tho'John McLaren  and Elizabeth MacPherson only had the two girls, Margaret 1800 and Elizabeth 1804, so that line may have died out ??
