Hi Adam

Thank you very much that very helpful.

Would you be able to help me a bit more do you know where I could check to see who else was buried with Margaret Ann, beloved wife of Joseph Wade of Stanley, who died August/7/1898 aged 44 years. She was my 2nd Great great grandmother I don’t live anywhere near Durham so an address or telephone number would be grand.

Thank you very much for your help

Hello Kellie. I think the only way that you can find out about the other family members is

Adam could I get the Barras details please.

I have to say what a fantastic service to researchers your information is.

For information, There is a list held in the entry of the St Mary's Church in Barnard Castle, of all the old gravestone names, many from 1700/1800, and a locator to find the grave, these graves are all next to the church, some inscriptions are difficult to read

Many thanks  :)

Thank you so much - we have successive generations with the names Thomas and Thomas Henry which soon becomes quite confusing!   :)

Hi Adam

I was wondering if there are any more Dawson gravestones in the St Thomas cemetery?  I'd be delighted if there is a John Dawson but basically any would be a boon.  :)

Many thanks
