would love some colour for GYPSY WAGON,
« on: Sunday 15 June 08 12:19 BST (UK) »
hoping that someone would like to have go at adding some colour to this lovely old picture i have received from my uncle. :)

have modified subject as although there are somelovely claean ups on here, no-one has put any colour in........ would really love someone to make this picture even more magical. thanks.
would appriciate a clean up as it is quite dark and hope if anyone has the time or inclination that they might cheer up the old wagon with some colour. there is a dog in a kennel in the background, but cannot see its face to well.
thank you and good luck to anyone wishing to have a go. ;D

I've enlarged the kennel area and played with the light/dark balance but the dog isn't too visible  :-\

Added - i would have had a  a go at this one  in the past - I can see it in colour.  I am trying to persuade Pels to restore it  :D

Another version of the dog. i think it's a greyhound cross and is looking up to the right  :-\

What a wonderful picture !!  :D :D :D

Reminds me of when we were kids ..... (  ::) ) the gypsies always came to the woods near our house every year ..... my sister and I used to be mortified as my Dad always sent us to collect the horse manure for his roses !!  :P

But I have some wonderful memories and stories of one particular old man .... who looked like Father Christmas with a gold ear ring !!

I've always had a love for those old vans !!  :D

well thank youuuu.
you have all had a good time restoring this lovely ole picture for my uncle and for me, thank youu all very much.
i think you are probably right about the greyhound cross as they used their dogs for rabbiting i believe so that would make sense.
hi liverpool annie, i know what you mean about manure, my nan often went outside after the scrap man had been, she always said it helped her roses. haha would love to hear stories of old, did you grow up with them, then
