Face of the Future
« on: Tuesday 17 June 08 14:23 BST (UK) »
I don't know if this has been posted before, but its new to me. Face of the Future is a website from St Andrew's University where you can upload a photograph and change the age, sex and race of a person. You can compare yourself with some of the old family photos.

The University says, "The Face Transformer is a fun toy only, and is not guaranteed fit for any purpose, implied or otherwise. The Perception Laboratory and the University of St Andrews accepts no responsibility for loss or damage incured while using this software."

I've just had a go and after a couple of tries, it works quite well.

I've bookmarked that so I can have a go later.  Have to scan a photo first.

The Mucha one was nice but the others made me look horrendous! Maybe I just think I'm better looking than I am

I sent it to my daughter as well, she'll love it. Roobarb, I looked best as a Manga cartoon too. My husband looked best as a drunk!

Seriously, I put a photo of my mum in, she died when she was 32 a long time ago, and aged her. She looked just like her sister does now. So that was great for me.

I thought the masculinised version of me on my wedding picture was a bit like my seventeen year old son.
The afro-carribean one was different, but I think probably I look best as I am, or as West Asian.
I put in my wedding photo to see if it aged anything like I have in real life ;D

I put in some of the photos of my grandparents as children/teenagers and the old age ones didn't look anything like they looked in old age.
