looking for Albert Butt & Edith A Shipway.

Hi all,
Iam looking for information on Albert Butt age not Known but marries Edith A Shipway 2.10.1912 (Bristol) can you find these two on the 1901 cens?

From freebmd, the marriage was in Melkham district, Wiltshire, not Bristol (or do you mean Edith was from Bristol)?  Without more information on the family it's hard to say which ones they are.

There is an Edith Annie Shipway who was born in Chippenham district, 1875 (freebmd again).  She was in Roundway, Wiltshire, in 1901, and in Upton Lovell with her family in 1881. This could possibly be your Edith.  (There is no Albert Butt in Roundway in 1901).

For Albert Butt, without knowing his age, occupation, whether he was married previously, etc, I can't really say anything about him. There is no Albert Butt living in Bristol in 1901, but there are a couple b. Bristol, and some born elsewhere in the Gloucester/Somerset/Wiltshire regions.

If you have any other clues, like family names or occupations, I can have another look, but realistically he could have come from anywhere. Without the marriage certificate, I don't think it's possible to make a positive ID on your man.
