Hi:

The way you put it seems to be right.  I contacted an old friend who lives just outside of Wrexham and he is going to contact the cemetery with the information I gave him regarding Margaret and William sr.  I also mentioned the William c 1833.  I am wondering why the William with the wife Catherine isn`t on the Hope film since he says he was born in Hope.  When I wrote down all of the Roberts`births, deaths and marriages I checked it 3 times.  I still have the film at the family history centre.  There was only one William and the William with Catherine was very consistent with each census unlike his wife.

He could have been non conformist , there were many chapels in the area, but how many were open at that time I don`t know.

My father was William Williams son of John William Henry Ramsbottom born 09/09/1892 parents Margaret Ann Ramsbottom nee Roberts  and Henry Ramsbottom. My father was adopted by his grandmother Kitty Williams shop owner in mold or Hope. I am not sure if Henry and Margaret got married hence adoption. His grandfather was born in Queens county southern Ireland and may have came over during the famine but obviously the family must of came from Lancashire previously. My father lived in Bryn Bach which is now a Jack Russell dog rescue kennels.
