All I have is his wifes D.C. from Morpeth- Jane Reid she died 1850 aged 84, born 1766, widow of Robert Reid, weaver of Chirnside.
Her possible maiden name was McClaren or Wilson;

marriages 1786 Chirnside, Robert Reid to Jane McClaren
                  1788 Chirnside, Robert Reid to Jane Wilson
