I've just had a better look at the 1901 info and Florence is widowed.
I've found a Maximilian Eugene Kubitzsch, who married in Lewisham, June 1890 on Free BMD, but can't find a matching spouse.

1891 census, his wife's name is Mabel.

I think you've got a bit of work to do. :)

Strange there are no collar dogs...In what is now called No1 Dress...They have always been worn, normally...

Any chance of a high def scan of one of the buttons pse??
One more charge and then be dumb,
When the forts of Folly fall,
May the victors when they come
Find my body near the wall.

I know its black and white but does anyone recognise the ribbons
They may be later than Great War Campaign gongs?

St Johns Ambulance had collars like that till around 1930.  and sgts rank...its the lack of a collar badge thats thrown me! ???

The one on the left (our left) looks like the 1937 Coronation Medal...

The cut of the jkt is as per No1s...Ummmmm....

Where did you get the date from? Is it written on it somewhere...??
