electoral role 1937
« on: Monday 23 June 08 21:42 BST (UK) »
Trying to find who lived at 22 Marlborough Avenue, Londonderry in 1937. Solving that will help me resolve who the mystery lady is who keeps popping up in photos with my gt grandmother (and looks like her...).
Are there electoral roles for this period in a library? If so, who can I contact?

Hello Austin,

I think that local libraries only hold current Electoral Rolls.

Contact the Public Record Office for Northern Ireland (PRONI) .

Thanks
Yes, you're right. I did a bit of e-mailing and finally managed to get a response from PRONI. In process of getting a search and fingers crossed might get a positive hit for my Irish family for a change....
