Thanks for the reply, the person who worked in the post office was my Mother's Brother Fred.
I was wondering if you had a birth certificate for Margaret White giving her Mother's Maiden name?
If you do could you give me the certificate number from it, so that I can get a copy and continue with my search.  If you are interested in any information from James Thomas Thorpe's side of the family please let me know.

sorry no certificate,but i believe her mothers christian name was MARY and her fathers THOMAS WHITE.
my wifes grandmother was MARGARET ELLEN THORPE(nellie) and she married a THOMAS BADDELEY.
i will have another look through the files and get back to yo.
