There is a possible parish marriage from index:

John Guy - Elizabeth Thomas marr 23 Nov 1836, Neath, states both of parish (PB) Personal details, Banns

Originals are held in Glam Records Office

There are a few possible deaths for John Guy pre 1841 census.  Not sure who or what is needed ?  Who are we looking for, I have some parish stuff....

Hi! No I don`t know where they were born 1841 says ,This county,  but it must be SWANSEA, Gower area, I know where EBENEZER st is, (roughly) and I know where the Church is that Mary and Samuel got married, I`m going to look at the BMD now to see if I can find a marriage for David Williams to ANN?   living at EBENEZER ST SWANSEA and see if she was ANN GUY, possible she was Marys` sister, perhaps that will give me some answers, wish me luck ,, Marg,,

:)  Thanks Cas, this is them,on the 1851 census the daughter of my G/G/Granparents MARY ANN MELLIN lived with them at SOMERSET PLACE she is age 13yrs and there is no JOHN KIFT there then, but Ricky(bless him) found her marriage for me( MARY ANN MELLIN) and they evenually turned up at ABERDAREalong with this ANN who is now THOMAS, so she remarried,I think this RICHARD GUY was a brother to JOHN GUY senior, RICHARD was born in the GOWER, if only I could find a connection so that I could put this family to-gether,  thanks MARG,,
