:)  HI! Barbara, just read over your last reply, I have worked on the Mellins side of my family and with Rickys help have covered most of them,  not all, but most. I am trying now to sort out the GUYS which I don`t know anything about really other than MARY GUY married my G/G/Grandfather on the 24 July 1837, and her fathers name was JOHN GUY, and because of all the ups and downs of her age I don`t know who her mother is either,,  Marg,,

Hi Marg,

It's the 1841 that you were asking for and Ricky was talking about

Have edited the posting to show this

No relationships or marital status are given in the 1841 census so no way of knowing the answers to your other questions, sorry, and birthplace is only given as being born in or out of the county, in this case Glamorganshire

Hi Marg,

No numbers given, but yes, they are in Ebenezer Street in 1841:

1841 HO107/1426/6 fol.32 p.12
David Williams 30 Mason
Ann        "        30 Dressmaker
Daniel     "       18 months
all born in county

Hi Ricky, still don't know if it's the right John Guy if he was supposed to be in Swansea  :-\

Kind regards, Barbara  :)

Hi Barbara
I couldnt find one in Swansea as a gas fitter, never thought about Neath, might have moved there with daughter and son in law, as that is where they were in 1841. They may have been at Ebenezer street in 1837 when they married but had all moved on by the 1841 census.
