I'm trying to get more info about James Robinson as it's my mother's 2nd cousin and she's been trying to get more info

There is a snippet of information in the Bradford Observer 25 May 1955 which says:-

Murderer dies: James Robinson (27), labourer, of Skegby, Nottinghamshire, was yesterday executed at Lincoln for the murder of Mrs. Mary Ann Dodsley (83).

If the age is correct then James would have been born in 1927/28 depending on when his birthday fell in the year.

Do you know anything at all about James?

Just found a little more information.  At the time of the murder James was living at Sylvan Avenue, Skegby, Nottinghamshire.

You could try electoral rolls for that period (1954/55) and try to locate a Robinson family living at Sylvan Avenue.
