Hi

Firstly apologies if I have misread this but I am new to this!!

Am I correct in thinking you are able to provide the inscripions to graves in Willington?

I am researching the Boleyn family & I know they lived in Willington.  After a search of this site I found your listing for Boleyn.

If there is anyway you could give me details of the inscriptions I would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Emma

Hello Alan. Just the one for Sweeney:-

In memory of Charles Noble, beloved son of John and Hannah Sweeney of Oakenshaw, who died February/18/1908 aged 1 year.

Tah for that, was rather hoping there may have been a reference to a "Wardle".  There is a marriage link between Wardle and Sweeney, the former was born in Willington.

Hello Doric. I have Ainsley names from 1924--1956.
Are those dates OK are did you want earlier inscriptions?

Hi Adam

Do you charge for your services.  I am really interested in finding out anything about Boleyns from Willlington.

Hi again Adam,

Thankyou for taking the trouble to reply - actually it was the earlier transcriptions I was interested in - from early 1800's if possible.  Again many thanks.

Hello Doric. The earliest inscription for Ainsley is:-

In loving memory of Susanna Ainsley of Oakenshaw, who died 15/June/1924 aged 69 years.
Also William, the beloved husband of the above who died November/3/1928 age 76 years.
Also their grandson William Ainsley Bailey, who died in Chicago, December13/1928 aged 26 years.
