I'm trying to trace the parents of David W. Williams born in 1865 in Llanelly. He married Sarah Davies of Llangennech about 1888. I would also appreciate any info on Sarah's family if possible

With surnames like Williams and Davies in Wales more info is needed

Have you looked for either of them on the 1881 census which is free to search at www.familysearch.org

You will then see that there are several possible matches and it is impossible to determine which is the correct family without a copy of their marriage cert to find their respective fathers names
