« on: Wednesday 09 July 08 14:24 BST (UK) »
I am seeking information about a George Duncan. He was born before 1836 and he live in Enniskillen, Fermanagh. His wife was Mary Pursley or Stewart and their daughter Margaret. I descend from the union of Margaret Duncan and John Noble. Any help is appreciated. Regards, Richard :)

Welcome to Rootschat. To research the family in Ireland you will need to know their religion and where they lived (Enniskillen could refer to the town or the area). Once you know those two things you can start to look for church records (if they exist).
1901 census is first complete census for Ireland so you will have to look for other records to locate the family. Any idea of George's occupation? (if daughter Margaret married in Ireland her marriage certificate should list father's occupation).
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Thanks for the reply. George Duncan, the father, was a gentleman farmer and John Noble was one of his stable boys. Regards, Richard :)
