This week I started transcribing Romany in American WWI Draft records.
Using the USA census records to find them first, I have been able to locate some Roms who signed up in the draft.
Here is but a small list of Roms.
Seth Lovell b. August 08, 1880, registered in Norfolk County, Virginia, Brown eyes, Brown hair
Seth Boswell b. December 21, 1898, registered in Will County, Illinois, Brown eyes, Dark hair
Nathan Boswell b. December 25, 1882, registered in Portsmouth, Norfolk County, Virginia
Hazel eyes, Black hair, Horse Dealer
William S. Boswell b. January 04, 1897 in Oak Grove, Kentucky, registered in Norfolk County, Virginia
Brown eyes, Brown hair
Sylvester Boswell b. April 04, 1899, registered in Norfolk County, Virginia, Brown eyes, Brown hair
