Hi Kerry,
Her daughter Anne married a Thomas Jolly from Stepney. First three children born in Monmouth but fourth and next three born in London. It appears that after John Foight died in 1850 Sarah went to live with daughter as on 1861 Census and died 1864 living with daughter and family. Sarah still in Chepstow 1851 Census.
Have wondered how Thomas Jolly from Stepney met Anne in Monmouth. Occupation of Thomas Jolly
Navigation Teacher.
My mind works overtime looking for clues. Cannot find any clues as to immigration info.about 1800 but has been suggested John Foight may have been a Lutheran as he was a Baker and Confectioner.
Once again thank you for your help.
Anyone reading this with any suggestions as to where to go from here would be very welcome.
Sylvia
