Hi there

John Edward Tingman married Honor Elizabeth Ward, Toronto 1890.  John Edward died Quebec 1909 age 43 late of the Royal Canadian Artillery.  Believe Honor was in Worcester, Mass, US by 1943 (in Champlain  NY 1920 and 1930 US census) but have not found a death for her.

This part of my family history had no real 'stories' but over the last few weeks I have pieced together much of the Canadian side and although the Tingman side is only via a marriage, it is all so very interesting and intriguing.

Cheers for now

Thanks Grub

Originally general enquiry on Vic BMDs and then Tingmans but obviously the two are now covering the same topic.

Thanks for such a great tool.

Cheers

A VERY BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE

Would just like to say how very grateful I am for everyone's input into my Tingman family history.  The information received has been fantastic and has given me a greater overview of the family as a whole.   I am always amazed at this fabulous site and the wonderful people who are prepared to take a bit of time out to help others.  It is so, so appreciated.

Once again, many thanks

Denise

hello cyanda! Death entries only contain the information supplied by the informant, who may not always know the details...

I know this in an old thread, Deniseso you'd likely have seen this by now...but just adding Henry's death July 14 1938 age 78

Hi!  I do a long shot. i am from Sweden, and my family here is alone with our name Tingman in hole country. I know some relatives migrated (to USA), some we have tracked some not.  The man how took the name Tingman in Sweden was a Tingman (Gustav Svensson)  born 1774-01-16.
